Hinge pins..
ANYWAY,.............
My hinge pins/bushings have been in need of replacing since I bought this truck 3 yrs ago
This lariat tow pkg on this thing has rattled, shook, and disconnected about every bolted down item associated with the truck, and I'm getting closer everyday to solving the clunks, bangs and rattles it has,-things are slowly getting quieter..
Has Anyone replaced their hinge bushings in the doors? I have the power window harness connecting the door to the cab..I gotta disconnect it so i can put the door on the ground,- I was figuring on detaching the doors from the hinges and leave the hinges attached to the cab, this way I can take the hinge apart without disturbing the cab mount line -up.
But, either way I have to disconnect the window power harness-
I dont have a garage, or anything that I could tie the door to and let it hang in place, Like a rafter in a garage or something) so It looks like Ill be putting the door on the ground, and lifting it back in place when Im done.
-As far as that goes, it looks like a two person job.-one to hold it in place, one to bolt it down....
Anyone got a better idea for doing it by yourself?
so as to hang the door in place...worth a shot. thx.
