I have never let mine get over 3300 and I didnt want it to get that high. I guess I just dont have the guts to make it go any higher. heck it scared th sh** out of me a couple weeks ago when one of my tractors got up to 3100 rpm. it is only a 426 ci motor but costs about $10,000 to replace.
