My brother just took my Expedition on a couple hundred mile trip. While he was driving back he noticed a loss of power and noise under the hood. The engine almost sounds like a motorcycle it is pretty loud there is a "pssst psssst psssst" sound like compressed air that gets faster with higher RPM's. I had the codes read and cylinder #3 has a misfire. Would a spark plug cause these problems? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Shawn
This is when a spark plug in a Triton engine suddenly and violently ejects itself from the head, thus leaving the owner disgusted, dismayed, and with a varying degree of lightness in their wallet.
The wallet lightness is determined according to the repair method used.
