'convertible' trailer

I spent about $200 on Uhaul rentals (open and boxed trailers) over the last couple of weeks, enough to seriously think about getting my own.

However, there are a couple of gotchas because of my wide open requirements:
a) sometimes I need an open/landscape trailer to haul garbage/wood/big items/etc.
b) other times I need an enclosed trailer (moving/valuable/sensitive items)
c) occasionally, I may also want to haul a car
d) have a somewhat limited amount of space to park a trailer, so it should be foldable, or partially dissasembleable for storage.
e) I'd like to have 5x5.5" wheel assembly with electric brake

I know that department stores like Fred Meyer sells a 4'x8' foldable trailer with 12" wheels for under $200, though that most certainly not enough for c), and in general too small for me. Ideally, I'd like to have a 5x13 or so trailer with the absolute minimum size being about 4.5'x9'.

Is there anything on the market that would satisfy a), b), and d)? I guess for an occasional car hauler I could still go to Uhaul, and I can change wheel assemblies later, or order a different one for some extra since the 5x5.5" is a rare size for trailers.

TIA

Car haulers are cheap! Only $2500ish... why not get a small enclosed trailer and an open car trailer! Worst case, why don't you put the enclosed trailer ON the car trailer to store? :P

Get the flat bed trailer and get a canvas cover made for it. Make a frame out of 1/2"
or 3/4" pipe and you could pop them apart and stack them, fold the canvas and put
the trailer up on it's side on your garage wall. Be sure to have a strong anchor and strap system to hold it. It is easier then folding and taking it apart, Just roll it up near
the wall and winch it up.

I have a 6.5x16' flatbed that I am considering making a roll-off box module for. I may just build another trailer to handle a 24' container, maybe a tri-axle, with the locking pins for a container. Of course, my solutions tend more towards portable storage-

Being able to weld and access to equipment makes this much simpler. Alas, I don't know how to weld, and my sister's husband (who is a welder by trade) is on a different continent. I do want to keep width to 5'-5.5' due to maneuverability, and because i can use them without a tow mirror.

i have a 6' wide trailer and can see down the sides with my ranger. its a enclosed haulmark 6'x10' with 6' interior height. i debated over open vs closed trailer, but most of the time enclosed is what i need, and only having a ranger to tow with limits me a little anyhow. the good thing i guess is that when not being used i have a lockable, mobile storage shed. the worst thing about it has to be the wind drag, even though i got the "V" nose, there is 2' or so trailer above the top of the truck cap. even empty i cant run in overdrive & it only weighs 1,000 empty. i was originally going to order a 5x10 with the side door and extra height, but this 6x10 was on the lot and almost 1,000 cheaper than if id ordered the 5x. paid around 2,600 for it
