I think my HPOP is leaking at the non-servicable o-ring again. So I am looking around to see what options are out there to replace this pump. I have done this once with a FORD unit.
I do not forsee then need for ' big oil' this truck is a daily driver and to rig for me. Not going big HP either.
I want good reliability out of the pump. It just needs to pump stock or maybe a little better than stock. Of course I do not want to spend an arm and a leg but I do not like have to chop parts of me over time when this blasted o-ring leaks either.
Well there's nothin you can do besides put another pump in it, try and fix the o-ring or drive it with the leak and loose performance. Your truck already has a good performance pump in it so your not gonna get anything better at this point then what you got. If you were to go big oil you'd have to replace the leakin HPOP you got now anyways. As big oil runs in conjunction with your stock pump. Best of luck

Great information. Sounds like I will be doing that as the pump I have right now has only been on the truck for about year. I am sure it is in good shape.
Has anyone besides the one poster ever attempted this repair?
