I am looking for manual hubs(replacing the auto-hubs) for -91 F250 idi. I am able to find a lot of hubs an conversion kits, but I am not sure if I find the right ones.
My axle-shafts have 30 splines, and the hub-covers are tightened with five bolts. I think this is a DANA 50 axle. But maybe it has heavy duty suspension ( don`t know if this make any difference)
Could anyone please post a link to what I need,and/or maybe some info(-:
i have a 91 myself. and honestly the auto hubs that it had in it failed way to quick for my tastes. replaced them with some warn brand ones. guess that was a while ago. i dont even remember how much they cost.
The "hole" for the lock-hub assembly has got a diameter= 94 mm
94mm : 25,4 mm/inch = 3,7 inches
The outer axle-shaft has got a diameter = 32 mm
32mm : 25,4 mm/inch = 1,3 inches
The outer axle-shaft got 30 splines.
The axle-tag says: 3.54 /\F1TA NA
/\610312-3
Also sent a mail to Superwinch inc. They say they got lock hubs for D44,
D44HD, D60 and D70. They havent got anything for D50.
So the question is, I guess, do the hubs for the D60 fit the D50?
There must be someone who have done this swap!?!
