I have 2 settings on my TW chip for HP. When I set it on the extreme it seems to miss when I punch it but it accelerates VERY well if I ease into it. This does't happen on the lower HP setting. Any ideas???
This doesn't happen on the tow settings either, it just rolls the smoke on the tow and pulls excellent. EGT's stay low as well.
I will contact Tony but I just thought I would ask here first as you guys are the bomb. My guess is that he tuned it for my future II's and my 15* can't keep up??????
yea i would put money on it being a hpop problem... i don't think it can keep up mine with just a 20k mod can't keep up so i can imagine urs is doing the same...
If I turn mine up to the "stupid" setting I get some sort of hiccup sometimes too. The throttle response seems super sensitive and I can't tell what's exactly happening. I don't get a CEL though, so I'm not sure what the deal is. If I'm already cruising in 5th and turn it up I get no problems, but if I try to work up through the gears I sometimes get a hiccup. I really haven't played with it too much because I didn't want to smoke my clutch during hunting season when I've got no time to swap it.
Neal its pretty hard to say without a gauge or a read out on ICP pressure but I would guess that its pressure related. If you have the 17* might as well give it a whirl then see where you stand.
