89 f150 feul problems
I have some issues with the feul pumps on my truck. I replaced the one in the tank twice now and the high pressure once. Yesterday it died on a steep climb, I disconected, the line before the hp pump, seemed to be pumpin good, hp pump seemed ok. So I think maybee water in the filter??? any sugestions????

what about the inline fuel filter just ahead of the high pressure pump, have you replaced that after you swapped the new pumps. Some times extra crude is nocked loose and plugs the filter soon after you have had the pumps replaced. The next thing you want to do is put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and check that against what the shop manual shows. That will help locate the problem

yeah, check you fuel pressure before you just go replacing pumps, unless you are positive that they're bad.....could be bad or clogged injectors, bad fuel pressure regulator, or other things
