Lol. Just curious amish, how exactly did you stumble across this thread and decide to reply to it? It's several weeks old and I would imagine you had to sort through several pages of threads to find it...

Yes there is a post in articles . I didn't think they were mounted far enough back to be strong . I like to fab a receiver hitch and reinforce from rad support forward . And hide receiver tube behind license plate. You can use to slide a winch in. or tow hook or put trailer in tight spot.

But yes you can get hooks from mostly there 3/4 and up Heavy duty trucks. The big C trucks had them often in early 90's. Good luck on hunt. Happy fabing

Here's How I find the old threads and resurrect them so people get an answer and don't get pissed off that we don't help them. Started doing this after a buddy of mine said "Man that site sucks, I've asked three questions and gotten nothing" As you notice 17fordguy got an answer from radial arm. I go to quick links, then unanswered posts, then the last tab. Those that haven't gotten an answer for a few weeks come up. Might not always be worth it by the time I get to it, but at least somebody tried. I know that my answer on this one was nothing more than a thread bump, but hey it worked didn't it?

I agree about some threads going unnoticed, but generally I don't reply unless I can help. Just so happens that I was bored and found the articles, read that one, then saw the thread and never looked at the date. Several of my threads have sunk to the bottom with none or little responce. I tend to be a little too technical sometimes I think.
