im not sure. I had my machinist order the pistons, rings, and all the bearings. Heck i just played it safe to make sure I got what I needed. As to my foaming. It looks like normal oil when there isnt bubbles on it. Its just after you run it hard for a few seconds it looks like its foaming. So im going to valvoline sae50 there racing oil. Heard good things I figure its worth a shot. Id rather spend the $8 or 9 a quart than a new engine!
I just used standard cast rings I have ZERO blow by!! makes me happy now it doesnt do that like it used to. My compression is about 135. Not sure why its that low considering its a new cylinder (bored .30), new rings and pistons. O well probably a few more miles and itll be good.
