need help
I have a truck that has been in my possision for 2 years I'm supposed to put a motor in it but the guy that bought the truck never recived the title ... I told him not to waste his money on a motor till he got the title.. well we want to fix it..
we want ot make sure there is no 3rd party involed..(money owed) do any of you guys have any "freind" that can run a vin number for me to make sure it's not (owed) agaist...or find the real title holder?

Just go to the DOR and say you're considering buying a vehicle with vin# . . . . . and want to see if any liens are out on it. if they say yes say thanks and walk away, if they say no you're golden.

yeah dept. of revenue, DMV, license bureau. . . all teh same stuff in Missouri.
If they say there is a lien out you can get whose name it's in and talk to him if you really want the vehicle. But the caveat there is if he says he wants the car back you have to give it to him or it's considered stolen.
