tach instillation

tach instillation
i just bout a super pro tach and it didnt tell me where to hook the green lead to... i have a 93 ranger 4 banger with the 8 plugs and the 2 coil packs... can anyone tell me where i should hook up the green wire?

'Where To Hook Up The Green Wire' (For Autometer Tachometers)
For 1993 and 1994, depending on the size of the motor, you can do the following:
2.3L - off the PCM (powertrain control module) go to pin 4, which is a tan wire with a yellow stripe. Or, go to the ICM (ignition control module) and splice pin 12, which is a tan wire w/yellow stripe - this is the same for the 4.0L, too, except for the ICM connection, it will be pin 2 instead of 12.
