A couple performance Q's
First off I have a factory turbo truck.
I want to put boost trans temp and egt gauges in and was wundering what brand you guys recomend. I was thinking either ISSPRO or automeeter.
Also what is the waste gate set at? I know it most likely wont open untill I upgrade my exhaust and I don't see any adjustment but I"'m wanting to run around 15 psi once I get the upgrade kit from ats.
I was also toying with the idea of adding a switch to my cold start advace so I could advance the timing when I want alittle more power. But I'm not sure if there would be any ill efects from doing this instead of advacing the pump so its normaly where I want it.
I also found an old thread where Dave S. mentioned a Propane injection system he had made that sounds like some real ingenuity went in to that I was woundering if he has any pictures.

Your first step is get the guages installed.
I am running Isspro, they have been making pyrometers for a very long time.
The boost pressure you see is affected by several things.
The first thing I would do is the exhaust upgrade and then see what you get as a result.
That will cause the turbo to spool sooner which is a good thing.
i would set the timing where it runs best all the time.
No need to have a switch to advance it more, once it is set right more advance will be a bad thing.
