fe offy intake question
I got a picture of an offy intake for fe's off ebay... In the picture there are three large round holes through the intake, where on my stock 2bbl intake there are only two. On the stock there is the distributor hole in the front on top, the water neck hole on the front surfact (vertical side)... but on the offy there is another hole in the back that looks like it's for another water neck... what gives?

fe offy intake question
Early FE's didn't have pcv systems. They had a road draft tube. It's essentially a steel tube that runs from the intake manifold down towards the ground. The crankcase vapors are evacuated from the engine through this tube.

fe offy intake question
it seems like it's a breather tube if you run valve covers without breathers it would also be used for oil fill area. you can buy bolt on breathers for it. I cant remember who you buy them through right now though. You'd recognize one in a pic if you saw it.
