hey guys, i saw a "bread" delivery van for sale the other day and stopped to look. not only was it on a ford chassis, but it has a 3.7 liter hercules turbo diesel in it in front of a 4 speed! it also has a generator in the back to boot. the lady wants $1500obo for it. and it does run and drive. i did some research and these low geared vans got 20+ mpg doing about 55-60, and while i cant remember exact numbers, the power wasn't too bad either and they weigh about as much as a big block. you can probably guess where im going with this. drop it into my somewhat lighter bronco (the vans are aluminum bodies) with my 4gear(someday a zf5) and 3.55's, i have an intercooler that would work great for it, and would probably be the only engine mod, and a set of 2.5" lift big block springs, 32's, and drive it to enjoy it.
i know it wont be quite that simple, but what do you think? any suggestions or comments?

Hercules, hercules, hercules!!!! I couldn't resist. Not a bad price, Scrap the body and it might pay for itself with the price aluminum is going for!! Do a water injection or propane, and a bit bigger turbo maybe.
