Amp install

My first post. Where is best place to pass a power wire for amp through the firewall on a 07 F-150 Scab? My arm is all cut up trying to find a good spot.

There should be a grommet to the left of the gas pedal. It will be behind the carpet/padding. Thats where I ran it thru on my 04.

I found a rubber gromet in the front of the floorboard on the passenger side, and ran it up into the engine bay.

yeah thats what i did also, i also used a coat hanger and slid it through it so i could pull the wire through, really easy. Also you can run the power wires under the diamond stamped plastic rails below the door (they just pop off) to the back of the truck where i assume the amp will be...

Hey Thanks for all the help ! I'll look for that gromlet on the right side tomorrow. I want to keep the power wire on the same side as the battery. Do I need to pull up the carpet to see the gromlet?

Can't find the gromlet on right side. For those who ran wire by gas pedal did you run power to rear on the left side? My cable is going to be too short because of the battery being on the right side. Need that wasted length going from right to left.

I used the drivers side. Yes, takes lots of cable.

If you are putting it behind the rear seat, your amp might be able to fit on the drivers side.

Yup. Do a search for rear seat removal and you will find some instructions.

I fed the power wire down behind my front passenger wheel well, through the boxed frame (yeah it was a pain), and then up through a grommet that was located between the two screws that held the jack in place(under the rear passenger seat). My amp is located under my back seat. I used a high pass converter to take the source off my rear speaker, so that I never had to touch my dash.

OK Got her done. Found the unused grommet on the passenger side and went right in down along fuse box and back to rear. Thanks for all your help and now on to the amps.
