All depends on how you drive and where you live. As for asking people from all over the country, useless. However, there might be someone in your area to compare to. But, it still all hinges on driving habits! My 01 4.6 gets 12-13 hwy and city combined, 19-20 highway only. All stock.
my 03 4.6l gets about 16 in town and about 23 on the highway i think its more than that but its been a while since i done it and ive only made my performance better since then so i know its higher
I just sold my '97 SCab 5.4L 2wd. It had JBA headers, Gibson Supertruck exhaust, K&N FIPK II, Superchips performance chip and 265/75/16 Goodyear Wranger APT's (with my 3.55LS chunk). I got mixed city/highway 12mpg. If I was on the freeway, downhill and with a tailwind I could see as high as 16mpg. Not very economical for Southern California commuting.
