First off... Hello, my name is Chris and this is my first post... Now, on to my question. I know how touchy these types of questions can be but I will ask it anyways. I own a 2004 Mercury Marauder and purchased an SCT tuner and a custom tune from Reinhart Automotive in FL (he is the S*** when it comes to tuning the Marauders)... I now have a 2005 F250 superduty with the 5.4 and was curious about where to purchase a similar tune. Something that tightens the shifts, increases throttle response, performance etc...
Any recommendations? Who has the best "out of the box" tune for the 05 Superduties? No flames... Just looking for advice. It is a company truck, so I need to be able to reload the stock tune if neccesary... - C
Do you have a Chip or the X Cal or SF flash tuner?
The SF 9415 will work with both the 04' Marauder and the 05' SD. With the SF adjustments can be made with the tuner without having to get a custom tune.
I have the 9415B SF and it covers alot of Ford applications, I don't remember though if it covers the Marauder. The previous vehicle has to be returned to stock before tuning antother vehicle.
SCT offers by far the best tuner out there IMO. The tunes are safe and the unit is easy to use. The SF will adjust what you want and still be able to be put the truck back to stock any time you need to.

I have the X Cal 2 with two diff tunes for the MM... street / track...
I want another one for the 250 and someone who can send it to me with the program already tweaked with my revs per mile (tire size) so the speedo is calibrated when I upload it. I'm just new to the Modular truck scene. Thnaks for the feedback...

All that stuff is adjustable at your fingertips with the SF. Follow the instructions, make the changes you want and flash the truck. Its very easy and takes about 10 minutes for your first time. After a few flashes you get the hang of it and can flash the truck in a couple minutes. The SF will come with canned tunes for the application.
I suppose you could contact an SCT dealer and have them put something together for you.
