Mirror........
Hi all,
let my buddy borrow my 2002 SD last night and some idiot decided to try to go through a hole that was slightly too small for his panel truck..........consequently I had the drivers mirror nearly driven through my drivers window.........needless to say, it's toast, along with some chipped paint and chipped window glass.
Question.........how much is the replacement mirror going to cost, paddle type, no heat, and what would a replacement window cost? How hard is it to replace each item? is it a do it yourself project? I an going to get an estimate to do the work, but like tinkering myself and may try to do the work myself.

Are the mirrors powered? If powererd you are looking at $213.02 if not, $131.94. For the cost you might want to consider upgrading to the 2008 tow mirrors. I got mine for $144 each w/ power, heat, and signal.
For a replacement window, look up DiamondAutoGlass.com they sell the OEM Carlite glass and had a decent price when I had them replace my windshield.

So if you can operate a ratchet and know how to splice wires, you can handle it.
