Got my gauges in today, numbers seem ok, 150 on the trans gauge afte 20 minutes of mixed driving, up to 20,21 lbs boost on a fairly hard acceleration with egt's around 500 to 650 at 70 mph. Do those sound about right?
developing a problem though, Trucked hiccuped yesterday and then today while idling it hiccuped pretty hard, then after the drive home I stopped and got out at the store left it running when I got back in and put it in drive it died. Got home and checked the harness on the drivers side of the valve cover and the wires were laying on the cove, so following the advice I found on here I bent the little bracket up some to get the wires to clear, could not see any broken wires though. Next Question is does this sound more like the CPS acting up?
#s sound right on gauges. Only 3, huh? everyone needs at least 7.
And a 4x4 right? Couldn't resist from the other post you had made. I didn't think I needed one, but got one anyway.
To the questions, #s sound OK. I concur, possible CPS even though the harness was touching VC. Unless it has worn through or become disconnected, the new CPS is a wise investment.
Thanks Guys, I was thinking the same thing but hoped y'all would say no, hahahaha.
Problem is I am on a 350 mile trip to texas tomorrow, hope it lasts till I get back other wise I'll be searching for a CPS and changing it in a parking lot somewhere.
