Glowplug relays

I would like to know were the glowplug relay is on a 96 ford E-350 with a 7.3 powerstroke i found the starter relay but i cant find the gpr with everything in the engine compartment there is no telling were it is thanks.

It's under the decorative cover by the fuel filter. The cover needs to be removed. Looks lke the starter relay.

If you take the doghouse off its on the top passeger side of the engine.
About the middle of the valve cover.
Take the heat shield and that black box thing off the turbo and youll see it.
Or directly behind the alernator under the trans dipstick.
I just changed mine.

Well since its a van first you need to get your torch out and cut the cab off. Then you will have a clear view of the engine. The GPR relay will be in the same spot as the pickup's on the engine. just alot harder to get to. I HATE VANS!

I want to thank you guys letting me know were the glowplug relay was on our E-350 van i changed it the other day and it wasnt all that bad to change

Yea, it is 96 Cali, but my 97 cali has totally difirent GPR

cali trucks monitor the GP system through the PCM and looks for faults or bad GP's in right and left bank. It can throw a CEL telling you which side has the fault. It has a 2 prong connector (pict above) vs. 2 small wires.
