a 2003 crew cab with 100,000 miles what is something like that worth in really nice cond and how are the 6.0s over all as far as tranny and power and anything else breaking on them?? thanks
If the ball joints haven't been done yet I'll almost garuntee that you will need them replaced. The power is great, tranny is rock solid. Get an oasis report on the pick up to see if the turbo has been replaced or not and see what else the report says.
I have 242,000 mile on mine , same brakes no new ball joints, same turbo, new injectors one hpop@ 210,000,two ipr's and one icp, second set of tire ,got 109,000 out the the bad pirellies sill riding on the miches i do need new ones . never seen a truck like this that did not eat tires ,never rotated the first set did the mics once waste of time and money to rotate why wear out all your tires just replace the worn ones, airaid,4' exhust, preditor , run retello syn. i get 18 to 22 mpg and it still hauls ***.
I have a 2003, 6.0 5 speed. So far, the turbo failed at about 20K (Repaired under warranty). Since then the truck has been running pretty good.
I’ve towed a 12,000 lb 5th wheel from Michigan to Florida and back three times. I’ve towed my camper through the Dakota’s, Montana and back to Michigan with no problems. I installed the Banks Hoss bundle a year ago and it improved my MPG from 20 hwy 16 city to 23 hwy 19 city. It improved the tow MPG from 11 to 14 MPG.
