Transmission Options
I am considering buying a new F150 or F250. I just don't understand why Ford does not offer the Manual trans in XLT/FX4/Lariat. I have an 06 and while the auto is nice I just want to get back into a stick. I would be willing to pay the same price and auto trans but they only offer on XL models. I went to the dodge site and I can build the truck I want with all the options and still get the manual. I am sure there are others on here that are not happy with this and I hate dodge but I miss building a truck that I want versus building a truck that ford wants me to have.

Sorry but not many manufactures offers stick anymore cause auto is a more preferable option people use trucks as family haulers these days and the dealer only orders what people want so you have to special order stick and its only available with the 4.6 V8 or 4.2 V6
So iam sure you can get a XLT stick just not lariat or FX4 cause stick aint available with the 5.4
