1997 f-250 coils or springs

hello, i just looked at truck, it was a 1997 f-250, it looked good but know way will i buy it. it had 377000 miles on a deisel, but 7,500 bucks. no thank you, it was even a xl. anyway, i thought 250 were leaf springs up front, this one had coils and radios arms. do 2 wheel drives do that or was this something done by somebody else?

I believe 2wd 250s had coils UNLESS they are HD (diesel or 460) correct me if Im wrong someone. Maybe someone did a diesel swap? Maybe a typo in discription? Maybe Im completely and blatently wrong? Maybe. Is there a link to where you were looking at it that you could post?

it is a powerstroke, something just didnt look right. it did have a little overspray on the window trim. and the truck did not sit right, like the front end sit low, like the motor is to big for the suspinsion.

Probably a diesel conversion from a 302 or 351.

WAY to much. Especially for a 2wd even without the extremely high miles.

There have been alot of nice diesel pickups for sale in my area lately. My buddy went to look at a 95 f250 4x4 diesel with only 107000 miles the other day. It was listed for 7500 and had no rust whatsoever. Needless to say between the time he talked to the dealer on the phone and the time it took him to drive there (45 minutes give or take a few) it was sold.
