Need help indentifying connection

This is a 1991 F250 / 460 /Auto

I am trying to indentify a three wire connector that comes through the drivers side of the firewall inside the cab of the pickup. It comes in just underneath the main wiring harness. The connector is round and consists of a red wire(constantly hot), red with light green stripe and a blue wire. I cannot seem to locate what it is supposed to connect to. I have searched through both the hanes manual and alldata and cannot find out what this goes to. This truck is somewhat of a mess and will not start. I believe this may have something to do with it as from what I can see the red with light green stripe goes to the ignition system.

Funny you mentioned that...
I just came in from parking my truck and brushed some leaves out of the floor area drivers side, and seen it again, wondering what the hell that plug goes to...I know I have a similar plug under the back bumper-I dont know if their attached-(Thats just a guess-) But yea,-same thing I have,-round connector, three female plug,-my wires are encased in a grey insulation, I'd like to know what thats for.-Mines an '88 F150 lariat EFI tow PKG shorty 4x4..runs well.

Are either of your connectors actually plugged into anything? This is somewhat dissapointing, I was hoping it might be the reason why the pickup won't start.

We swapped in this motor awhile back becausethe original engine started acting completely out of time and died all together. I know this motor runs because I had to drive the pickup it was in back to the shop where we swapped the motors. It has spark, it has fuel, all lights come on, checked the computer for codes and found nothing. I have checked and double checked all the connections. Changed out the TFI module and nothing. The truck will turn over but it won't start.

I remember some time back.. someone did the same thing..had something to do with the computer..
Did you keep the same computer with the motor you just switched?
Fordfuelinjection.com explains the difference in computers as to compatibility
Other than that..it sounds electrical,-sparkwise, --I have a fuel system shutdown switch underneath the dash on the firewall.this little bugger will automatically shut off with any kind of trauma to the truck..its for taking out the fuel pressure when an accident happens ,-and when changing over the fuel filters ..engine will turn over, but wont catch and run..

Does this shut down switch come stock on these trucks or was it something you installed? If it came with the truck where can I find it and how can I reset it?

As for the computer I left it alone.

The inertia switch was ok, the fuel pumps would not run if there was something wrong..correct?
