Something to think about and keep in mind.

A large thread was removed? Let's move on. We won't forget. I'm not surprised that it was clipped... but I am surprised that it got so big before disappearing. As big as FTE is, I can see potential for that thread creating some long term management problems, and potentially some legal issues, if the thread had continued to grow and expand. Eventually, someone would take advantage and ruin the effect that I believe has now been clearly established in a lot of people's minds regarding the character of both FTE and its members.

I guess, the more I think about it, the Admins removing it altogether is probably the best thing and done at the best time... momentum had begun to wane, and I really didn't feel comfortable with Ron's personal address and personal email address being left so publicly available for potential ID snipers.

In the end, there are enough of us who will not forget this event, and the positive impact has been very real for a lot of people.

Oh, well, if only we could run the entire world by our own terms, we would be a lot happier, but I'm sure that a lot of others would not be.

I guess I am, at least as far as I can tell, the culprit responsible for the deletion of the thread...for that I apologize to everyone. I never even considered it as against rules of the forum...I am a dope and my sig says it all. Anyway, I am proud of everyone here...and proud to be part of this group of caring people.

Pete, thanks for your perspective!

Neal, I honestly don't think that any one individual can claim the full credit for the thread being deleted. Like I said, I personally believe it was inevitable. I believe firmly that our FTE family accomplished a lot in a very short time, and am absolutely certain that the impact is not yet at its end! The "spirit" lives on!
