The Dynomax headers I just installed fit very poorly. I had to mangle one pipe to get the headers in, it was hitting the power steering unit. After finally getting them in, I noticed that the driver side exhausts directly into the C6 transmission linkage. It would be almost impossible to plumb up a pipe and have the linkage work well.
Looks like I've wasted another $200 on this !@#$ project.
Has anybody purchased headers for a 67-72 f250, 2wd with an FE engine, power steering and a C6 auto, that fit good? If so, what and where?
Sorry to hear that, but thats why I keep recomending Stans...you pay twice as much but you won't have any problems. Sandersons are well respected too but I can only personally vouch for Stans. Good luck!
If your knuckles ain't bleeding you did something wrong.
