torsion key

i have a 03 fx4 and the torsion key bolt is about half way in pushing up the key. Should the bolt be out all the way to be in stock position?

the torsion bolts set about mid stroke. if you want to raise the truck an inch in the front, crank them all the way up (in). if you want to lower the truck a little bit, back them out most of the way....note that the two side rarely are set the same. this is a height admustment and depends on the manufacturing tolerances of the torsion, A- frame and key.
