Ive noticed lately that when I apply the brakes at slow speeds, I hear a creaking kind of sound. I first noticed it when I was going around this one tight turn on my road and thought it was the frame creaking, but friday I was backing out of work and I applied the brakes while going slow on a level surface and I heard the sound. It seems like its coming from the back brakes. The truck is the one in my sig if that helps at all. Any help would be great, Im getting the front rotors turned at the shop down the street (auto hubs are one of the two things that I will not touch, the other is auto transmissions) and I would like to have them fix the problem (if it even is a problem) with the back brakes while they are at it.
I have tried PB blaster on the bushings. Its pretty much a regular thing. Oil, grease, blaster, ect. I pretty much always have some sort of lubricant on them as well as the bushings for the radius arms. I have never heard a peep from them. Even if they did make noise, its too much of a cooincidence that it happens only when I press on the brakes. If I make a tight turn without the brake pressed, it makes no sound.
