flipklos,
Your 64 came with a ladder style frame using the old 3 point powertrain mount set up. It is a front engine mount & 2 side mounts on bellhousing. There is no transmission mount. The bellhousing side mounts also carry the earlier transmissions.
Then in 1965 and from then on, FoMoCo has been using side mounted style engines with a rear transmission mounted on a "X" Member instead of the older design like your '64 has.
There are several aftermarket adapter companies with sets available to convert your early engine bay & chassis style so it will accept '65 & later type powertrains. They generally include side mount conversion with either a under engine "X" member, or frame mounted side engine stands plus both require a rear transmission "X" Member to mount the more desirable late style transmissions that go with more modern engines.
I can't speak to LMC because I do not deal with them much & they no longer send me catalogues anymore.
If I were going to attempt the upgrade engine conversion you mention, I would get the engine mounts that come with a "X" (cross) Member rather than the stands. You see 300 cid, or 4.9L in later terminology, are torquey engines & that can affect weaker mounts such as frame mounted bracket style in some "kits".

If the 65-66 300 is already mounted in you truck then yes the 70s 300 will bolt in. If your 64 has a 223 then you have some modifications to make before any 300 or 302 can be installed. Easy way to tell is if there is a motor mount under the front pulley on the engine, that'd be a 223. Rich.

A 300 six can be mounted in a 64 using the FE aftermarket crossmember for a 61 to 64 truck. Along with the 300 you will need a new transmission with a tailshaft mount and a trans mount. Remove the existing bell housing crossmember for clearance.
The 300 shares the perches with the FE on 65 to 79 so the Fe crossmember will work with 65 up engine isolators.
To scrounge up the front 300 mount and the correct bellhousing will run more than just the 2 new crossmembers for the engine and trans.
