Was going to get some plugs for my truck today. Just wondering what kind you guys use? I was going to go with Autolite, since it's Ford, and was looking for some coppers. Cheap and effective. I'd rather change my plugs every 20,000 - 30,000 miles and use copper, than use platinum. Just my opinion. Now, here's the stupid part... are the plugs in that link copper ones? I would assume so because of their price. If so, I'm off to the store to get them, lol. For FREE.*
*I shop at Autozone because you get those cards that when you spend $20 each time for 5 times, you get a free $20 purchase. I love that... By the time I change the oil in everyone's car in my family, I get a free oil change for myself.
EDIT: I don't know if that link will work for everyone. Here's a little info about them. Part number 24... Autolites. Cheap. lol, are they the coppers?

Autolite used to be Ford many many moons ago. Now it's Motorcraft.
Use the exact same plug your year engine was DESIGNED around by Ford, with their plug in it.
Autolite manufactures the motorcraft so get which ever are the cheapest of the two!!
Do not forget silver antisieze on the threads and dielectric on the boots!!
Thanks, guys. I just got back and am glad to see that the 24's are right. Yeah, I use Autolites in my Ford's because Autolite = Motorcraft. Well, I'm gonna go out here and change them. Coppers ftw. I also got some antisieze and dielectric.
Ok, done. One of the metal parts inside the spark plug came out and was stuck on a plug. That sucks. I think I hear a miss, now. Truck runs the same. May have always had a little miss. I just didn't have the dough to get plug wires.
Either way, it took me long enough! A little over an hour. The passenger bank is tougher than the drivers side. But, still an easy job.
Figure out what wire is possibly bad by grounding it out with a test light or pulling it from the cap or block. A cheap fix is to wrap the bad wire with electrical tape or cover in wire loom.
Yeah, I will fill you all in on it tomorrow. Didn't feel like messing with it anymore, lol. The plugs that were in it were Motorcraft and they weren't fouled out. Actually, they looked like they had ran a little lean, but I didn't do a WOT run before I checked them. They were gapped at .052". I put these new ones on .046". I don't FEEL a miss, but it just doesn't sound perfect through the exhaust. But, it may just be me since I cut the exhaust off after the last converter.
