clutch pedal reset
I'm new to the forums. I got a 99 150, owned since day one. regular cab flareside with a romeo 4.6, 4x4 off road XLT. 5-speed. has 169000 on her. Wrangler Mtr 285 17's.I've fixed alot of things on it but run into something no ones seems to know the answer to. At 160000 the clutch started slippin in 4wd. So i had the stock 10.5 replaced with a new flywheel and 11" clutch. 2 days later the slave went, so I replaced that. 3 day later I cracked the rear end, which is the third Cheap ford limited slip I cracked. So I replaced the front and back with detroit truetracks 3.55. Now that She's fixed the question remains. clutch pedal engage started out by the floor and as time went by has crept up to the top. now it's all the way at the top, not fully engaging 100%. Even with the new clutch and slave the engagement point never changed. Is this controled by the master cylinder? I know I have no leaks, resivoir is full. Just want to get the engagement point back down by the floor.
