Hey gang.. I need to find a 90 degree Stainless Steel elbow for my boost line.. I went ahead and switched to the 05-07 Accufab polished intake elbow and need to get an elbow that matches for the boost line instead of the stardard copper..
There was a place online that had em.. I just cant remember the name.. They were pretty cheap too.. Bear Hunter has one.. Yet he hasnt logged in since August 1st Think he's playing Ranger right now..
The Swagelok fitting is a nice fitting. There are many equals that are less expensive, but you are onlu looking for one, so it is not too bad.
This fitting uses two pieces that act as the crimp during the compression process. The tappered, or cone shaped one is a no brainer, but the second little ring that looks like a washer has a step that is directional, and must not be installed upside down, or it will leak. Inspect the material before you install it, and you will see a small tapper on the little ring. you will also see this tapper in the other end where it seats. Do not loose this when you take it apart. Many of my guys have installed these upside down, and the majority have leaked.
Just a littlt heads up on this style fitting, since they only send one set of crush sleeves with each fitting.
