Napa thermostat
The thermostat I'm using looks like this




It has a small hat on the bottom. Does this style block the bypass properly or do I need to step up to the Robert Shaw style?

Go with the robertshaw #333-xxx to be sure. The extra expense and effort of getting the right tstat is small compared to replacing a head gasket or two.

i know this has beeen discussed here before, but where is the best place to find a robertshaw thermostat?
