does it need a flange???
The EGR cooler delete pipe that inserts into the oil cooler.....I completely removed the short piece of blue radiator hose that connected the stockl egr cooler to the oil cooler , and I would like to know if I can install a piece of similar radiator hose to reconnect the two, and if the end of the new tube going into the oil cooler should be flanged??

While I was swapping head gaskets, I had the egr cooler in hand.. but I quickly found its not that easy to remove this thing.. Coolant flows to intake from there and oil cooler, also would need to cap off the intake's egr port too. So I just capped it and replaced the up pipe with my own version.
