Hay ***** B the regular ford jeep is a 3 speed, but the ford (GTB) burma jeep is a 4 sp, basicly it is a large jeep looking thing on a 1 1/2 ton frame. sort of a wierd looking thing. i like it because its odd, sort of like me!!!!!!!
all 6 of the burma jeeps i have are currently at the Eagle Field museum in Dos Palos, 4 of them i own myself the other 2 i own half & half with the owner of the museum. we also have an airshow the second weekend in june every year. check it out if interested WWW.eaglefield.org or www.eaglefield.net as far is all the other trucks i listed in my signature, they are at my ford farm. i also collect and sell ford truck parts since the 70's, need anything let me know. i do it as a hobby not a buisness, mostly 1948 to 79, but not much for 53 to 56 models sorry I thinned them out already, I'am thinning out my stuff (spare parts) so check if i have it, or feel free to arrange to stop by and look around to see what i have. Hay fastmover, I sent you a PM e mail about the 67 to 72 inner fenders and the radiator support you are looking for. I have them and lots of em. there are two different radiator supports for these years, the one for the thicker rad - and one for the thinner one. i have both as spares...... Jess

Yea, I know your museum - more my brother than me, but we worked with the war birds for several years, and I got to go out on the carrier for the Doolittle raid reenactment.
Someone gave me a photo of some Jeeps in Burma that had steel railroad wheels installed - the army used them as switch engines at the rail head. Maybe they were your style jeep (1 1/2 ton Ford) - it always seemed to be a lot to ask of a 1/4 ton jeep!
