Must be nice to have garage that your truck will fit in. I guess if I wanted to follow the rest of the pack, I'd have one in my garage over the winter too. I hate working on my rigs out in the snow. Cover it up, and wait til spring. But, in the mean time, I gotta have something to do. Can't stand the winter months. So, I'll build a couple models, and start a model railroad with the kids. Them dang Big Jobs need a special garage to be worked on, and my dang city house lot aint got one
I still have a Visible V8! I bought it for my wife to build when we started racing so she would better understand the relationship of the parts inside an engine. This past weekend we went to the IHRA World Finals to cheer on a good friend who drives a Pro Mod. After the Sat eve qualifying his crew tore down the entire engine while we watched, and they were impressed that Donna could recognize and discuss all the various parts with them as they came out of the engine.

I learned so much about engines from that kit. I never thought of using it for a female, but it was great for a little kid (like I was at the time). I think mine is still in the top of the closet out at my parents house. LOL
Do they still make that kit? Even if somone is not into models...that would be a great educational tool.
Hey guys, Brad (the guy building me a custom model Big Job) sebt me a few progress pics. I'll attach a couple, and the others are in my gallery. It's getting there. He's building it on his own time, as a side project for me. It's amazing the abilities the interenet can give you. This guy was selling semi parts for models on ebay, and I sent him a message. He replied the next day, and took on my request. I sent him photos of the yellow 56 semi that was on ebay, and he used a 1/24 scale kit of a 55 for the platform. I don't know if he is sending me this one, or if he is going to use this as a mold and send me a resin cast one, but who cares. It's starting to look like a Big Job. I will use it as a canvas to see how my 55 will turn out with different semi parts on it, like sleepers, fenders, tanks, etc., etc.
