Ok have a 84 f250 with 351w. I was troubleshooting why my wiper fluid wouldn't come out. So, to test the wiring, I hooked up my test light to the little prongs in the connector that goes on the pump itself and one of the two would turn on when i pushed the **** in, so i figure the wiring and switch are good. However, since the pump doesnt work, i guess i need a new pump. BUT HOW DO YOU GET THE OLD ONE OUT???? It looks like it has some retarded ring around it, but instead of forcing it off and breaking it, id ask here first. Thanks in advance
with the older trucks the washerfluid/ overflow tank can get very brittle... I've gone to the boneyard and bought the whole unit, so I don't have to make an extra trip to get a new tank
