do steering wheel words light up?

I was wondering if the cruise control words on my '96 are supposed to light up
like the newer trucks. My '03 did.

Nor is there a light in dash to tell you its on. But just the lights in wheel would be nice.

im gonna figure this out since im replacing my stering column and whell with a non air bag type ijm gonna figure out how to make this work.
