Hello can anyone help me identify the approximate year/ maker of my camper shell - I am planning on selling it and would like info - it is absolutley mint and has been on the truck for 35- 40 years according to my uncle - thanks you can see pictures of it in the gallery - year 65 f250 white truck with blue and white campershell -
I can't help you at all with any info, but can tell you, you may eventually be sorry if you let it go.I searched long and hard to find a really nice condition shell that came close to having the same dimensions as my '59 Styleside long bed.The one I have is taller, more rounded and older looking than yours, but looks period correct and is in beautiful shape.I'll probably never see one in as nice of shape, though I only paid $100.00 for it.I even asked the previous owner if he was sure he wanted to "break up the set",since it was on the truck since new,and was always garaged.I'm happy to have mine, and think you'll be glad should you find a way to hang onto yours.Currently,I'm fixing mine up for camping, with a bed,Custom cabinetry, stove, sink, icebox, heater , even a tiny microwave ,and a 12volt/120 volt electrical system. They don't typically bring much money, even in as nice of shape as yours is in,so you're probably better off keeping it if you can. They sure come in handy, and you'll kick yourself for letting it go.Ask your Grandpa.Steve.

This style was introduced in the mid to late 1960's...it will fit thru 1972. The 1973 and later trucks have a wider bed. FTE member snortf100 is looking for one of these now. His inquiry is in this same forum.
