Installed the 05-07 FM70 catback yesterday and here are two clips.
stock.wmv is stock exhaust
fm70.wmv is the FM70.
Both are at startup or just after and rev up to 2500 even though it sounds like 1500 rpm. I'll try to get a take off/drive by clip this weekend and some more pics.
Install is easy but removing the stock unit wihtout cutting will require a lift. Not for the home do it yourselfer, just way to long. I cut the stock one where it turns down after the axle in a straight part and it came right out.
Stock unit is VERY HEAVY. Unfreakin real how heavy that stock unit is!
Sounds good driving and isn't too loud like I was worried about with a 50. More to follow as I tow with it next weekend. I can actually tell when the engine is running now without having to look at the tach!
WPT acceleration isn't loud in the cab at all. A slight drown at about 1500 but I never cruise around that RMP anyway on the highway.

Really quiet at highway speeds. Nice rumble at idle and up to 1500 then starts to get quiet. Most driving around 30-50, you can here it a little so you know it's there but not enough to raise your voise to talk to someone. Hard acceleration from a stop it sounds good outside, pretty quiet inside. Although I wouldn't mind a little more loudness, FM only offers the FM70 in their catback for the 05-07.
It is just what I wanted, a little more exhaust note but not to much. Great price too!
Thanks Kevin, Im trying to avoid hearing the exhaust when im towing for 7 hrs with OD off. but i like the rumble around town like my f150 has.
Ya, same here. I just drove today on the highway from 60-80 mph and you can't really here it at all at those speeds. I'll be towing next weekend and will post how that goes when I return. I tow at 65-70 mph, 2000-2100 rpm or so.
Towing update on the FM70 catback. Sounds great! Not to loud and a little rumble from 1500-2200 or so when cruzing. Not enough to have to raise your voice but just enough to know it's there. When the TS downshifts under braking, it gets loud. You can here it a little bit on the clip I posted when I lift off the throttle but it's really loud under downshifts!
I'll get some drive by's and take off's this weekend with the trailer and post the clips.
