Peel Out... Anyone?

Peel Out... Anyone?
OK, I just traded my 07 GT Mustang 5sp(4.6/3.55 axle) with SCT/93 Race BamaCips tune and JLT CAI w/ Flowmasters, which had the same hp, 300, as my new FX4(5.4/3.73 axle). So far I added dual Mangnaflows and a ROUSH CAI. Performance comparisons between the two are night and day. Sure, I understand everything about tunes, torque(actually the F150 has more), throttle lag, power to weight ratio, flywheel HP vs. RWHP, etc, etc,etc... But, you'd think that this truck could peel out on heavy acceleration... nada! I'm sure the 20" OEM wheels may have a little to do with it, but still... It's as though it has traction contol. I will be going with a SCT/BamaChips set-up in the near future. I was wondering whether this is common? Can anyone out there peel out, in a streight line, with their stock F150? Thanks

thank god it doesn't let ya peel out...lets remember they're trucks with light rear ends and peeling out around corners can have bad results for inexperienced drivers...plus...if you had to buy tires yet for your truck...you'd appriciate the fact that it won't let you burn them off at will....

Just a little. It sucks. Nothing close to burining them, just a scratch.
Not like I'd want to do it all the time, but my 77 with a 302 can do it if need be.
Even my 79 bronco can do it with 36" rubber(only a one time deal, those tires were just about as expensive as they are for these trucks).

I think tire prices are priced on how popular a certain size tire is. My daughters Mazda has low pro Goodyears on it. Last week she came home with half a sheet rock blade stuck in it, and Dis***** Tire wouldnt repair it. (Didnt want them to anyhow). A new tire is $210 + tax, stem, warranty, old tire, etc. This isnt much different than what I paid for a new 17" BFG for my truck. Prob could have made 3 of her tires for the material that was in mine. And certainly much easier to manufacture.
