I'm running a Bilstein 2.25" leveling kit and 35's with no problems. I've had it off road several times and no rubbing issues at all.
With all of the trees on my place I didn't want to lift it any more than necessary. Oak branches are murder on sheet metal!
you have the new style '05 coil front suspension and LV has an '04 w/ leaf style maybe there is a difference.
also there is about a 3-4" difference in stock ride height if you truck was not ordered w/ the FX4 or snow plow prep package. it will be 3-4" lower in the front end..

yes there is a difference. i just noticed he had 05 also. the 05-up seem to be able to run bigger meat with less lift, they have different suspension setups.
I run about 50k miles a year will this affect the annoying factor of driving drone,I just have stock tires and some open country MT's and they sound really good, cant even hear them with windows up, will the bigger tire sound different?

Great point! I ordered my truck with the FX-4 and Heavy Duty suspension. Apparently, the 05 and later trucks also have larger wheelwell openings so there ya go.
Sorry LV, I didn't catch that you've got the leaf springs up front.
Also, LV, great point on the gears! 4.88's are overkill with the PSD and 35 or 37's. 4.30's would be enough for towing at or beyond the PSD equipped Super Duty's rated capacity with larger tires. Unless you're going to run 54" Interco's....
