No problems so far
Bought an 06 F150 XLT SCAB 4x4 in December 16 06. I have 12500 miles, still no problems, except for the exhaust starting to discolor the chrome bumper a little, oh yeah and the scratch I put in it while hunting, besides that an excellent buy.

Glad to hear it. They are good trucks. Its nice to see someone post about being happy with their truck versus the tons of negative posts about them. I am at 49k on my 04 and no major issues to date. *knock on wood*

Same here. I bought a left over 2006 on Valentine's weekend 2007 (thanks to the wifey). I've put 15K trouble free miles on it. It is easily the best truck I've ever owned. It continues to get better mileage and I love every bit of it.
The only fault I've found is the front Ford symbol that is delaminated, but I'm not going to bother with that for the time being.

I'm happy with my 06 F150 XLT Scab. Bought it in June of 2006. Only minor problems like the blower fan only has 3 speeds instead of 4 and one of the lights on the keyless entry pad is out. Other than that its fine. Just have to take it in to the dealer. It gets 15-16 mpg around town. I use MC oil and filters and regular maintenance. It's a great truck. I traded in my 1994 F150 Scab that I bought new, it had 138,000 miles on it when I traded it in and it ran great, just wanted a new one. The information from the members here helps immensely.

The warranty runs out on my XLT Monday and the only not **** problems I have had was a clutch pack replacement that ruined the differential because the the shop neglected to tighten the carrier bolts. I complained to Ford and they sent me to another dealer that resolved the problem.

06 Screw with 16,000 miles
1 paint issue that got fixed immediately. Otherwise, is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I plan to buy another one in 2009/2010.
