it's not a bad swap. you will need to have the radio programmed and it's about 85$ according to shipping. i can't think of the name right now but i will post it later. they are superfriendly and take care of business. i have anv unit in a 2006 from a 2007 or 08 . the antenna is no problem either. just remove the radio and and the top tray and mount it underneath the top try on a bar that is underneath it in the dash. no problem....
In my previous truck, I added OEM nav from an 08' Taurus to my 08' F150. It was plug and play with the exception of the programming required for the sat radio. For this purpose, I sent it to United Radio in NY for the reprogram. After the programming everything worked as it should. The total for the reprogram was ~$100?
Justin, If you are interested, I can program the unit to work perfectly with your vehicles options. The dealer is wrong, but they do not have the equipment to do it properly. They can only clone VIN numbers. The unit need to be configured to work properly. I have done countless configurations for units purchased on ebay. PM me if you are interested.
I have an 07 FX4 SCREW that I added an OEM Nave unit to. Everything seems to work but the map doesn't seem to scroll properly and show correct vehicle location. Is this something you can fix with reprograming? I can send you any info you may require(radio serial # and vehicle vin. Email me at keyway05@yahoo.com to let me know what you need. Thanks

HI seen your thread. I just purchased a oem nav unit out of a mercury mountaineer. I hooked it up in my 2004 f150 and it shows a mercury emblem then shuts off. Do you know how to program it to work for my truck? I'm guessing that's the issue
