Question Van Engine Swap

Hi!
I have a 1993 E-150 conversion van with a 5.0 and an overdrive tranny (VIN "N"). The engine is getting tired and I'm looking at putting a 5.8 out of a 1990 Bronco into it. Will this bolt up to my existing trans? Will I need to pull the ECU from the Bronco too? The 5.8 is a rebuilt with only a few thousand miles on it before my Nephew rolled the Bronco on the ice last winter. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

The motor will boltup fine, the computer could be an issue however, it depends upon the tranny in the van. Does the bronco have the same tranny as the van? My guess would be the Bronco has a C6(non computer controlled) while your van has an E4OD which is computer controlled. If so you'll need an ECU for the 5.8/E4OD combo.
