Chrome Door Handles

Im looking to get some chrome handles for my '04

Found a pretty cheap deal on ebay thats a perfect fit, 2 dr handles with a tailgate cover included.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...spagenameZWDVW

Thing is, I dont know if youre suppose to have the whole handle replaced or just a sticker like this one. Do these work or would they peel? Thanks for the info.

btw, I see that this seller is from Taiwan. So I wouldnt likely buy from them, but just want some info.

It depends on what you want. I havent seen the handles that are completely chromed and not a stick on. I think the chrome covers look tacky...my own opinion...

I think the Mark LT handles look sharp. They are going to cost more, but you could always buy them, the sell the old handles to recoup some of the $$. The LT handles are painted then the pull part in the center (Handle) is chromed and look very nice. I had some chrome stick on stuff on a previous vehicle and took it off after a month because the look really wasnt what I thought it would be.

Only LT handle I could find, but its the opposite of what you described. I like the design you described though and ill look into it.

This looks pretty cool:

Here's where I got my LT handles http://www.jusnesmodified.com/ look and work great as they are oem parts. These took some effort to install, but I put new speakers in and dynomated at the same time. Some of the replacement strap type handles you have to take the springs out of the old handle and reuse them, you might as well replace the buckets too. The stick ons are easiest and cheapest. I think they look tacky and can spot them at a distance- not sure how well they hold up.

The chrome stick on handles have been on my truck for almost 2 years now and I have never had a problem with them. Everyone seems to like them to. Pics are in the gallery.

I have the chrome stick-ons on my truck, it came with chrome stuck on the door handles from factory and I put bezels on. If buying any be sure you get Putco brand they have more tape strips than others. You can get them on e-bay.

In my opinion I would stick with solid billet handles that are chromed. I got some from these guys http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/All_Sales_Mfg.html and they look sweet. They have a bunch of different styles and they weren't all that expensive. I also put them on myself so you can save money there too. I have pics of how they look in my gallery.

Did the handles come with instructions? How hard is this to do and what tools?
Did you check on pricing elsewhere or does the place you mentioned have the lowest pricing?
