360 exhaust&oiling
I have heard 360's have very restrictive exhaust and oiling systems. Is there anything I can do to free up the exhaust other than installing bigger exhaust valves? What size valves should I use? This is a resto truck so no headers I want it to look stock.
Also I heard that the oiling system is not efficient enough to do much pulling I have a boat and a drag car that I pull so what can I do to help me there?

Adam, the exhaust can be helped with an upgrade to the 1.65 CJ428 valve, and some bowl blending and grind the lump out of the roof of the exhaust port. But without headers you are still going to be strangling the poor thing. For the oil, there are several passages that are mis-aligned or too small. To do a proper fix, the engine has to come out of the truck. After the fixing, a windage tray and bigger oil pump will put you on your way to indestructability. Do you know what to do on the oiling or should we walk you through it ? DF
