390 Oil Pan !!
its transistion.. 428 crank (20x20) JE pistons 25.5 D shaped
recess 80 over, heads cleaned up in seat area's with 2.09 intake
with 30 degree seat, 1.65 exhaust with 45 degree seat, bowl
reworked with Bronze guides & unleaded seats. Isky lifters,
Comp Cam .494 lift 218 @.050 - 268 adv 110 lobe center-intake
centerline 104.. cc'ed out to 70, Melling Hv oil pump, block
oil oil galleys taped, oil pump passage enlarged to filter boss.
bore worked out to 4.115 - stroke 3.98 - comp ratio 9.156 .. turns
out about a 423.5 ci.. added the Mildon pickup and deep sump pan,
got ready to sit it in and ... welll one of those unthought of
problems... the pan wouldn't clear the cross member #$%&@#*!
Call around to the several speed shops around here, but can't to
come up with an oil pan, any body got on or know where.. for a
1975 F150 with a 390 block.. Any help,, would be great,,
