My 66'

Yay! I finally got the old girl on the road again. Upon inspection of the old axle, I found that the back plate was bent and that whole side(passenger side) of the axle's brakes were just dead and sliding with gear oil. I put the dana 60 from a 69' under it instead. That axle had a bigger brake setup, so I had to redo the ebrake. Even though my 66' came out with power assist, it only had one resivior in the master cylinder. Went and got a new m/c, hooked it up and it worked beautifuly. I even switched out the steering box and she turns so much better. Took the better part of three weeks cause of school, parts, and weather. Cool thing though, my stepdad tried to start her after we got her ready to go and she wouldn't turn over. "Whats wrong now!" I hopped in, turned the key and she fired right up.
Sorry bout that guys, just wanted to get that out there.

It is always soooo sweeeet to get em drivin again!! Congrats!! It is funny, my wife can go out and Bessie WILL not start, I walk out and vvrrooom! I Know how it is!!
